Changing Consciousness and Ending the Cycle of Violence
A Reflection by TonyaLe
I just celebrated my 57th birthday. I used to feel a bit of shame for growing older, for some reason. I would never even tell my children my age. It was a standard joke because I never told them, so they never really knew for sure my age. This birthday is hitting differently with recent events. With that milestone came a deep sense of clarity, a new level of peace, and a strong desire to speak from the soul. What happened recently to Charlie Kirk wasn't just an isolated event. It was another example in a long line of moments where someone was attacked or even killed simply for speaking their truth. It’s heartbreaking. And unfortunately it’s nothing new.
History is full of examples of people being silenced for standing in their power and expressing their beliefs. Socrates. Jesus Christ. Martin Luther King Jr. Malcolm X. John F. Kennedy. Gandhi. Journalists. Activists. Scientists. Visionaries. And now, we’re still seeing it today with social media influencers. But what is new is the visibility of reactions to the events. The people celebrating someone's death is not new. That has happened since the beginning of time. This is what is really new. We are just able to see it in real time. The way we, as a collective, either choose to amplify hate or shift toward healing.
This moment feels like a mirror to me. And I believe it’s time we stop and look at ourselves. Our society is in a toxic cycle, much like a dysfunctional family system. The kind where abuse is passed down from one generation to the next. Where someone has to finally say, “This stops with me.”
As someone who has spent years helping people heal trauma and shift their lives, I see the same thing happening on a global scale. It's not just about laws or politics anymore. This is about collective consciousness. This is spiritual.
We are in a time when social media algorithms feed off chaos and conflict. Every reaction, every share, every angry comment adds fuel to the fire. Even when we disagree with what’s being said, our energy keeps it alive. That’s exactly how toxic patterns stay in place they are fed by attention.
If someone in your family was acting out for attention, being loud, hurtful, or reckless, you wouldn’t reward that behavior. You wouldn’t feed it. You would set a boundary. And that’s what I believe we need to do as a society. We need to stop feeding toxic content online. We need to ignore the bait and instead focus on creating higher-level conversations.
Think back to September 11, 2001. Nearly 3,000 souls were lost. But for a moment in time, we stood together. There was no left or right. There was no color or class. There was grief, compassion, and unity. That is what we are capable of. We’ve done it before. And we can do it again.
But now, in this current culture, we see people celebrating violence. We see others reacting by amplifying it. And we stay stuck in this spiritual loop. As a psychic, healer, and life coach, I’m telling you that this moment is bigger than a news cycle. It’s a test of our energy. It’s a test of our soul maturity. It is also a great opportunity to make the biggest shift in consciousness that has ever been made in history.
Freedom of expression is sacred. I will always stand by that. But when expression turns into glorifying harm, that’s where we must draw a boundary. Not through censorship. Through spiritual discernment. Through refusal. Through silence. Through redirection.
This isn’t about revenge. It’s about reflection. It’s about choosing to change the cycle. That change starts with us. With what we consume. What we share. What we react to. What we speak into existence. What we teach our children. The REAL walking our talk!
We keep waiting on laws to fix this. But laws will never shift consciousness. You can’t legislate love. You can’t write a policy for peace. That kind of transformation comes from inside. It starts with how we treat one another in everyday life. With how we hold space. With how we raise our vibration even when the world feels dark.
So today, I’m choosing to be a light. I’m choosing to call this out without judgment. I’m choosing to raise my voice, not to argue, but to inspire. I’m choosing to lead with love, not because it’s easy, but because it’s powerful enough to break the cycle.
Let this be the moment we draw a new line in the sand. Let this be the moment we decide that celebrating violence no matter who it happens to is not something we’re willing to tolerate anymore. Not in our communities. Not in our energy. Not in our homes, and phones. Not in our future.
Let’s starve the algorithm. Let’s feed the soul. Let’s stop reacting and start responding. With grace. With vision. With strength. With spirit.
Because we can speak without taking a side that’s how we rise.

I love this, choosing not to participate will be challenging in some circumstances. It's a choices of change definitely. Especially when people are so ugh at times. Thank you for being such an amazing soul and taking the lead on this because as for myself I feel these things but feel alone. God bless you Tonyale.
